Description

Wow! Today’s was so much great information from a midwife herself. Working in the industry, you’d still never imagine you’ll experience loss and trauma yourself. But Maddy did. Her second born, had a cord prolapse during labour. Being remote assistance didn’t come quick and sadly her baby Wren wasn’t able to stay on earth due to lots of complications. Maddy talks about all the wonderful things she’s done in the bereavement space in the name of Wren & her local community. She also talks about pregnancy after loss and her 3rd birth. Here are the books and links we spoke of during the episode:https://www.featheringtheemptynest.co.uk/Ask me his name A bump in the road https://www.theperinatallosscentre.com.au/https://www.cope.org.au/course/perinatal-loss-in-practice-what-hospital-staff-need-to-know/https://lindencookdesign.com/collections/new-impression
