Description

Record hops at the local high school, The Buddy Deane Show, and marrying the girl next door. These are just some of the memories Forest Hill photographer Jerry Taylor, Bel Air High School Class of 1962, shares on episode #32 of Mainstreet.  Jerry also leads us on a yesteryear walk down Bel Air's Main Street, sharing mostly happy times but also shedding light on the unfair policies that existed during the civil rights era.

A retired licensed clinical marriage and family therapist, Jerry now devotes much of his life to his lifelong passion for photography.  He shares some practical tips for any level photographer and tells the story behind a series of photographs he took of gypsy children in Romania.

We barely scratched the surface with Jerry in this episode and we'll try to have him back at some point for a follow-up conversation.

At the end of the interview, Jerry even serenades us, proving there is truth to the saying, "like father like daughter."
