Inspired by the tragic death of his Cavalier King Charles spaniel, Billy, Matthew Brine founded Toad Busters Australia to help other pet owners protect their animals from the lethal cane toad.
Brine shared with Gary Hardgrave how his company installs toad-proof fences and offers emergency kits with activated charcoal to slow the toxin's effect, giving pets more time to get veterinary care.
