Jamie and Matt have just a taste of Duke and Dame Salted Carmel Whiskey. We are joined by one of the founders, Amani Macauley. Amani (who went from being finance professional to whiskey connoisseur), created the product to appeal to a wide consumer audience and break down the stigma that whiskey is too intimidating to try. Inspired by their love of butterscotch candy, the flavor profile evokes notes of vanilla, butterscotch, and slightly charred orange-but without the high sugar intake at just 1g of sugar per serving. We host Amani in the amazing Wine Garden in St. Clair Shores. Thanks Tony for letting us invade your space.
