Description
I recently heard from a friend who is at a barn that changed the type of feed they were providing. Sadly, they ended up with a few cases of colic. While I don't know all the details, I thought it was a good topic to discuss - when making changes to a horse's diet, how and why it needs to be done slowly and carefully.
