The police couldn't have cared less. What a bunch of looses. Nobody in that police office did one thing to help Marina and the people looking for her.

it sounds like she obviously had an underlying mental illness with the god comments, really odd driving incidents and general nervousness preceding her going missing. however, the police obviously had something to do with her disappearance by the way they tried covering it up by telling people that she had been found, not even letting people know she had been put into jail, leading her brother on a wild goose chase to 'hear from her', telling him that she had drank 6 bottles of wine and various other lies - it all looks really bad for them. something happened between the police department and marina that night. if the police department weren't directly involved with her going missing at the very least they were completely incompetent at handling it. the way they released her from the station with no belongings is eerily similar to mitrice richardson. really sad case overall! i hope to see a resolution in the future to see just what the hell happened.
