Our exit today has us at two films starring A Tripp Through Comedy All Star Martin Lawrence. First, we talk about What’s The Worst That Could Happen, written by Matthew Chapman and directed by Sam Weisman. Next, we talk about Black Knight, written by Darryl Quarles, Peter Gaulke, and Gerry Swallow and directed by Gil Junger. Both films try to highlight Martin Lawrence’s comedic gifts but to little success (depending on which of us you ask).

Along the way, we discuss lots of Lawrence, but also Danny DeVito, Do the Right Thing, renaissance fairs, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, heist films, some baffling acting choices, great ensembles, Senate confirmation hearings, and wasted British legends.
