While this series is very different from WandaVision and tonally more like MARVEL's other films, Grace and Marshall were both surprised and delighted at the premiere episode's lack of action, taking its time instead to dig deeper into Sam and Bucky's mindsets. They discuss common themes between Bucky and Sam, and how both heroes are struggling with discerning their new calling after Avengers: Endgame. Marshall is excited to see where the Flag-Smashers, the series' new villains, political plotline will go, and Grace is curious to learn more about the new Captain America played by Wyatt Russel. They both hope MARVEL will lean into the political discussions already sprinkled throughout episode one as the series progresses.
