Dr. Strang provides a #COVID19NS update about a death and two new cases.
Nova Scotia is reporting one additional death related to #COVID19, bringing the total to 59. The death involved a female in her 80’s with underlying medical conditions in the Central Zone; she was not a resident of a long-term care home.
Nova Scotia has 1,052 confirmed cases of COVID-19. Two new cases were identified yesterday, when the lab completed 573 Nova Scotia tests.
There is one licensed long-term care home in Nova Scotia with active cases of COVID-19. Northwood in Halifax currently has 11 residents and four staff active cases.
Nova Scotia has 38,999 negative test results, 1,052 positives, 59 deaths and 976 people have recovered from COVID-19. Seven individuals are in hospital, three in ICU. Data is updated daily at https://novascotia.ca/coronavirus/data.
