Fernando Mendoza, Indianas star quarterback, has been named a Heisman Trophy finalist, leading the Hoosiers to their first Big Ten title since 1945. Mendoza, a Miami native, is the only FBS quarterback with five games of four or more touchdown passes and zero interceptions this season. Hes led the nation with 33 passing touchdowns and will face off against the winner of the Alabama vs. Oklahoma matchup in the Rose Bowl Game on January 1, 2026.
