On April 15th, 2013, Prof Carl Mischke was found beaten to death and face down in his blood-soaked bed. He was the ninth in a spate of murders of gay men in and around Johannesburg, South Africa but was his killing really the work of a serial killer or was his murderer actually someone closer to home?
