The Miami Hurricanes established a dominant ground game and defense once again in their 42-7 blowout win over the Stanford Cardinal. 

The Hurricanes rushed for 199 yards behind a great game from Mark Fletcher Jr. Fletcher found the end zone three times in the win. Miami’s defense clamped down. After giving up a 74 yard touchdown drive to open the game, the Canes only surrendered 70 more yards for the entire contest. 

Carson Beck and the offense had a slow start but settled in during the second half. Beck didn’t take many shots downfield but he managed to stay interception free. Host Alex Donno and guest Melissa “Hoodie Girl” Brown broke down the win but wonder if the Hurricanes can keep it rolling against better opposition. 

Miami dropped a spot from 9th to 10th in the AP Top 25 despite the victory.
