Description

In addition to adjusting to social distancing and not being able to go to many of our favorite places, we’re also adjusting to spending more time at home – where the kitchen is just steps away. Couple that with working from home, home-schooling children, and dealing with a worldwide pandemic and you have a perfect storm for stress eating. As a result, some people have reported eating more of their favorite comfort foods – you know what those are, we all have them. Comfort foods are typically high in sugar, salt and calories. While we can’t change the stress, K-State Research and Extension nutrition specialist Sandy Procter says we can control what we eat.
