Moonbeam City, Episode 10: The Wedding of Rad (Lie)
Good brunch to you all!
Lee has had the most intense brinner a person can possibly stuff into their face. She’s doing meals right over there. Get in touch with her and she just might teach you how to enjoy a meal the proper way.
There are some people out there that really love a good bitter taste, and Sean is having trouble understanding them. He wonders, why should a person have to acquire a taste for something? If you don’t like something, then don’t eat it!
The pair don’t like coconut water, but they love them some good dark chocolate. Is there any better chocolate? The answer to that one is easy: no. No chocolate is better.
They also both saw the film, The Night House, so that means it’s time to talk about it. Was it spooky? Was the story good, or was it underwhelming in the worst way possible? Was it worth the probably millions of dollars that were spent making it? You’re not going to find out the answers to those questions reading these show notes. Suffice it to say, this might divide some listeners…
In what was streamed this time, we have a bittersweet episode ahead of us. It’s the last Moonbeam City ever. [Uncontrollable sobbing.] Dazzle gets it on with the local mafia queenpin, Rad almost gets it on with someone he really shouldn’t, and everyone gets shot in the shoulder. It’s an inauspicious ending to a show that should have been far more popular. Join in on the ‘80s fun one last time!

(Sean completely botched the reference to this film. Ryan Gosling does not star in it. In fact, what he was thinking of was All Good Things. Please do forgive his lack of correctness.)
