Description

Anthony Ley, Surgical Recovery Coordinator, and a former US Navy Corpsman, shares about what he is responsible for in the OR as part of the care team of doctors, nurses, anesthesiologists, and many technicians.  His position is to make sure things go seamlessly when that crucial time has come.

You can hear his passion to impact lives as he shares the importance of those who register to donate and encourages listeners to have conversations with their own family wanting people to fully understand what organ donation is really about.

“I am no lone hero, I am definitely part of a team,” Anthony shares.  He believes he has only a small role in this process.  Bridging gaps and making connections with families and communities to make donations happen is a 24/7 team operation.
