6. Gerri Hall of Huey Piano Smith & the Clowns fame, born Erdine Bouise, she was discovered while waitressing at the Dew Drop in New Orleans. She was  big fan of comedian Jerry Lewis so much so that she adapted his name. She was also Fats Domino’s sister in law. ︎
