The White House vows to continue its deportation operations after the deadly shooting of two National Guard members a day before Thanksgiving. The administration is halting all asylum decisions and has vowed to "permanently" pause immigration from what it calls "third world countries." President Trump stated that the asylum pause could last "a long time."
Luigi Mangione, the man accused of killing the UnitedHealthcare CEO last December, appeared in court today. His attorneys requested the hearing in an effort to have key evidence—including a notebook, a firearm suppressor, and a 3D-printed handgun found inside his backpack—excluded from the case.
