Nakia Hanson has been Master of Relationship and Sexual Violence trauma for almost 22 years. She is a survivor of rape, narcissistic abuse, and cancer and has since turned her misery into her ministry.
Nakia is an advocate for survivor’s of color as a member of the Texas Association Against Sexual Assault Survivor Advisory Board. She is a mental health professional and a Certified Advanced Trauma Recovery Coach and through her private practice she provides trauma recovery services to women survivors of relationship and sexual trauma. Nakia also provides trauma informed and responsive training to those who provide services to survivors of color.
