Nebraskas football recruiting takes a hit as three-star quarterback Dayton Raiola, younger brother of current starter Dylan Raiola, decommits just weeks before National Signing Day. Raiola, a top-100 national prospect, had been committed since September 2024, but now his recruitment is open. This loss, along with three other decommitments, leaves Nebraska with only nine commitments, the fewest in FBS and last in the Big Ten.
