CNBC recently featured Compass CEO Robert Reffkin. In the interview, Reffkin highlighted a significant shift in the housing market: the price gap between new construction homes and existing homes has narrowed dramatically. He noted that, on average, new homes are now priced just $100 more than resale homes. This is a notable change from previous years, where new builds typically commanded a much higher premium.
