Toprak Razgatlıoğlu produced a spectacular showing at the Leicestershire circuit to announce himself as a genuine title challenger to Jonathan Rea in WorldSBK.

Elsewhere, Scott Redding struggled. The 28-year-old managed to salvage his weekend with a fourth in Race 2 after a “horrendous-looking crash” in Race 1.
