Regarding Kaepernick, Wright conveniently left out another thing that, as far as we know, is a "fact."
Kaepernick has not made much if any genuine effort to get back into the league while he has enjoyed collecting endorsement checks and playing the martyr for the last three years.

Has anyone noticed that the only position in which these guys give a crap that the standard has been lowered in order to accommodate the modern athlete is quarterback? I don't see anyone wringing their hands that we can't find a way to basically legislate opportunities for all of these undersized scramblers to play nose guard or left tackle.
