The “wall of games” phenomenon is actually an after-effect of seeing rows of games at Toys R’ US and Software Etc. and trying to recreate that at home, as adults. Without these emotional experiences, there is no nostalgia, and games have no historical value, like antiques do. Therefore, it is a danger for the game collector’s market.
