José was born in a very religious background that shaped his beliefs, but also, made him neglect his true self. 9 years later, José is here with us to tell his story that transcended from a life of fear and shame of being gay, to a story of love for yourself and other. Jose Vega, born and raised in Puerto Rico, conversion therapy survivor, father to Nadia and Xavier, and engaged to Johnny William.
