Michele and Steve Berlant, owners of Old Agness Bakery & Spice Shop join the show to share about their HOT business!

Old Agness Bakery & Spice Shop in southwestern Oregon boasts over 300 creative hot pepper products, including dozens of craft hot sauces from independent makes, hot pepper infused oils & vegetables and their own housemade spicy brownies.

Michele started baking brownies a few years back for her music students and when they started growing hot peppers in their garden, decided to add some to the batch to kick it up a notch.

The product was a huge success and now the couple makes a variety of sweet treats infused with hot chilis, ranging from no spice to 3X chilihead. Their hot brownies are spicy enough to make even the biggest chilihead sweat!
