Three prominent commentators–historian and former Williams College president Francis Oakley, anthropologist Nancy Scheper-Hughes [at 12:30 ] of the University of California at Berkeley, and classicist W. Robert Connor [at 22:00 ], Director of the National Humanities Center at the time –respond to the charges.
