James and the Giant Peach check a lot of boxes for some consistent themes we've been seeing in Disney movies. This one in particular is interesting because the author is yet another British Intelligence officer who just happened to write successful children's books. He might have also influenced the US joining WW2 by having the ear of Eleanor Roosevelt.
