Description

Each year the New York Chapter of the American College of Physicians welcomes between 3 and 6 medical students and residents to spend a month rotating with our Executive Director and staff researching policy, reviewing proposed legislation, meeting with regulators and legislators, and understanding how to best represent patient interests as healthcare policy is formulated.

Learn about personal experiences in advocacy from 3 of the 2021  participants in the Steven Walerstein, MD, MACP, Advocacy Internship along with our 2021 Health Disparities Fellow.
