Oregon Ducks center Iapani Laloulu is a finalist for the Rimington Trophy, recognizing the best center in college football. Hes also on the All-Big Ten offenses second team. Laloulu has had a remarkable season, contributing to the Ducks top-14 rushing yards per game and protecting quarterback Dante Moore. Last year, Jackson Powers-Johnson, Laloulus predecessor, won the Rimington Trophy. Laloulu has been exceptional, allowing just one sack and eighteen pressures in over three hundred pass-blocking opportunities. Despite recent injuries, hes shown resilience and is set to recover in time for the College Football Playoff. He faces tough competition from Logan Jones and Jake Slaughter, with the winner announced on December twelfth.
