Orsted, the Danish renewable energy giant, reported a net loss of $260 million in Q3 2025, missing analyst expectations. The loss was due to one-time gains not repeating and impairments. Shares dropped 12.7% in late trading after the US Department of the Interior suspended leases on five of their offshore wind projects. Despite this, Orsted maintained its full-year EBITDA guidance and is pushing ahead with European projects and strengthening its balance sheet.
