Be prepared to quickly fall in love with Monica Martin and the breathtaking sounds of PHOX, a seven-piece group based out of a small town called Baraboo. Reminiscent of Beach House’s Victoria Legrand, Martin absolutely captivates with her thick, sultry vocals, as complex as the love she sings about. Backed by piano, clarinet, banjo, guitar, trumpet and percusion, the song “Noble Heart” couldn’t be more magical.
