Does the federal government really believe this expensive program will do anything for public safety? We’ll hear from Tracey Wilson, who’s with the Canadian Coalition for Firearm Rights.
Plus, with Canada facing an economic slowdown and all sorts of trade uncertainty with the United States, a new study finds that we’re entering this period of uncertainty in a position of weakness. From 2020 - 2024, Canada’s GDP-per-capita declined, despite the overall economy growing. We’ll speak with Lawrence Schembri, former Deputy Governor of the Bank of Canada and currently a Senior Fellow and Chair of Canadian Competitiveness at the Fraser Institute.
