Description
Julian Bell, a paraplegic after a motorbike accident, used his half-million-pound compensation to fund a criminal empire, the Longsight Crew. Despite his disability, he became a feared figure, armed with powerful weapons and ruling through fear and rewards. His crew was involved in a bloody drug war, leading to numerous shootings and at least twenty-six killings. Bell was jailed twice, but his criminal activities continued until he was sentenced to twenty years in 2004 for drug and firearm offenses. After his release, he plotted a return to the drug trade, moving at least five hundred thousand pounds worth of drugs, but was sentenced to another ten and a half years in 2018, finally ending his ruthless reign.
