She is Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at PennState College of Medicine where she provides outpatient services to youth (ages 2-18) and their families. Jessica holds certifications in PCIT Level I (In-House) Trainer (2014), PCIT Therapist (2014), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (2014).
 
Jessica walks us through her life experiences that led to becoming a Psychologist, her history of experiences working as a mental health clinician, and her current work as a Psychologist using Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). Jessica describes in detail the history of evidence-based PCIT, how sessions are conducted, the impact PCIT has on children and their caregivers, and the training and process to become a certified PCIT therapist.
