Description

Troubleshooting! Scan yourself to see if any of these that could be kinking up the free-flow of your channel. Trust what comes up for you. Believe yourself. You are capable of self-diagnosing and you always have your own best answers.

  1. Who are you speaking to? What are you believing about your audience? What do you believe they're thinking about the message you're sharing?
  2. Are you changing your message so that other people can like it better? Are you dimming down / vanilla-ing / sugar coating so it comes off more acceptable? Where are you not willing to be “too much?” Are you giving yourself full permission to say the things you want  to say?
  3. Are you rejecting your own message? Are you believing in the VALUE and POWER of their own message? Are you trusting your OWN ideas are good? Or are you rejecting your own messages that want to come through because you don’t believe in their value? No more hitting the reject button.
  4. Are you shoulding all over your message? Are you trying to follow a rule? Are you changing them how you think they’re SUPPOSED to sound? Are you following a should like “how should I say this?”  Notice where you're following a should or a rule when you share your message.
  5. Are you allowing yourself to feel every feeling? Or are you pushing through and sharing without being there for yourself? Things will feel OFF or out of alignment if you have feelings inside you that you’re avoiding feeling.
  6. Are you believing it’s working? It's your job to develop this belief for yourself. Other people can't do this for you, your business can't do this for you, your engagement can't do this for you. Get creative: what are all the ways my message could be working right now that I can't see? Could you look for intangible evidence of it?
  7. Are you being your own greatest supporter? Notice how you're speaking to yourself when it's feeling hard to share your message. Are you helping you through this, or blaming you? Your message will give you hard feelings that you're going to need to practice facing and feeling with yourself.
  8. What BIG BELIEFS are you daily plugging into? Are you re-connecting daily with your WHY?  Your intentional thoughts are the foundation or the support system for you to be able to share fully and truthfully.

PRO TIP: When it feels hard, there is there is either some thought or rule in there that is making you feel a certain way that you’re avoiding feeling, and that is kinking up that free-flowing channel of ideas and thoughts and messages. Troubleshooting means we’re being curious with what that could be, with no judgment.  It never means something's wrong with you or that you've run out of things to say. It's always an invitation inward to take a look at something wanting to be seen, cared for, and healed.
