This week marks 100 days since the coalition of National, Act and NZ First took the reigns of power in Parliament - and while 100 days is usually an arbitrary number made up by American politicians, this government set down 49 goals for their first 100 day period.

We were promised a laser focus on the cost of living, no cuts to front line services, tax cuts and continued work towards environmentally sustainable outcomes. Instead we’ve had budget cuts, Te Rēo Māori reduction, threats against funding amateur sports groups because of trans women, lobby groups writing policy and massive bills put on the shoulders of local councils.
