Over the past 25 years, Pax Mahle has been a leader in California wine.
His work in the early 2000's helped put Northern California Syrah on the map. In 2005, Pax's shift in vineyard sites and approach in the cellar marked a fresh beginning that many follow to this day. Few other modern winemakers have a crew of employees and former employees that have launched their own wine projects, which are deeply loved and sought after.
