Peak to Peak News: Nederland High School Harvest Feast
Description
It's not often that students, parents and teachers get to share a meal with each other. But once a year, on the Friday before Thanksgiving, the whole Nederland Middle-Senior High School community get's together for the Harvest Feast, a traditional more than a decade old.
Media specialist Jamie Lammers stopped in to the potluck lunch to chat with the hungry cafeteria patrons to see what it's like to sit down and have a meal with people they seldom eat with. We pulled some of the most interesting responses into an episode for you.
If there's one thing everyone agrees on, it's the value of community events like this in a small town. Listen in to what people had to say here.
