As part of the Beauty Papers x Good Trouble takeover with founder and editor Roderick Stanley, we are introduced to Sex Militant, a collective of artists and activists dedicated to liberating bodies from sexual oppression.

'We featured Jex Blackmore in the second issue of Good Trouble, when photographer Alex Austin and writer Charlie Utz went to visit her in Detroit in 2018 to talk about Satanism, performance art and activism. For the third issue, we were glad to feature her new project Sex Militant, a confrontational activist group dedicated to sexual liberation, with Alex’s accompanying photo-essay. In this first part of our Beauty Papers takeover, Jex and Alex had this video conversation.’
