Hi folks! SIFF (Seattle International Film Festival) just concluded a two-week celebration of 'Star Wars' by showing every movie to come out of a Galaxy Far, Far Away. Out of the many showings at SIFF Downtown, we watched Irvin Kershner & George Lucas' Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, and are here to bring you our thoughts on this cultural classic.

Widely considered to be one of the greatest sequels of all time, the 1980 film brought us stunning effects, deep world building, and genre defining twists. How does Empire hold up today, especially when experienced on the big screen? Stay tuned to find out.
