Description

October 30, 2016. Washington, D.C. During the 2016 Presidential election campaign in the USA, a conspiracy began to be posted about on message boards, facebook, and twitter. It apparently began after WikiLeaks made John Podesta's personal emails public. Hillary Clinton's campaign manager didn't have anything obvious in those emails that spelled out a conspiracy in government involving a "child sex ring" but believers in the conspiracy pointed to what they say were coded messages. At the center of this was a Washington D.C. restaurant named Comet Ping Pong. It was rumored that children were being held there. The pizza place's social media accounts were scoured and more 'evidence' of secret activities were unearthed. One man, a father of two, decided to take matters into his own hands and drove to the restaurant armed with various weapons, including an AR-15 rifle. So, was there a conspiracy involving pedophiles in government? Or was there something else at work behind the conspiracy known as Pizzagate?

There's an interesting question for conspiracy theories where people may be being hurt (not talking about UFO suppression here). How much time was spent, by real people, researching, discussing, trolling, and spreading rumors that COULD have been spent working with verified orgs for victims of human trafficking? Think on that before you run to the internet to dig up info that supports your opinion (AKA Confirmation Bias).

This is the first episode I was drawn to. I've listened to so so many podcasts about conspiracies. Little disclaimer: I'm not a neckbeard, I don't browse imageboards. I have a job, I pay my taxes, blah blah blah. This whole episode was a retelling of every article written about pizzagate. It presented none of the most damning pieces of evidence. You brushed over so much and instead chose to frame it as entirely politically motivated. I'm not calling you shills, and I know I'll be attacked for this, but this episode was so unapologetically biased, even down to the intonations in their voices - so mocking and 'holier than thou'. Please research more, and then give us a real show.

lol you really pissed off the incels of 4chan with this one, guys. Great coverage though. Nice to see a rational break down detail by detail. Strangely telling that the neckbeards see pedophiles in every conspiracy. Its almost as it theyre projecting or something....

Tucker Connell The problem is the cult gop rewards whoever has the craziest story. Obama is a foreign Isis terrorist. the dnc killed Seth rich. Obama care will hate death panels. Sandy Hook was fake. everyone that came up with these got paid very well. Alex Jones was made a multimillionaire by Sandy his disgusting sandy hook craziness. I worry about who will be their next greedy lying voice.

I agree, it is clear who’s side they are on. It’s OK to not agree with the conspiracy, but be fair and balanced your coverage as a conspiracy. I challenge anyone to go on to VOAT and read the “Pizzagate - full executive summary”, view all the creepy images from Alefantis’ Instagram, view all of the correlations of the verbiage used in the emails compared to the FBI’s list of known pedophile codes and symbols, how they could tie to the pizza place, and then it’s far more suspicious than these two clowns lead on to believe. Glad I did not subscribe to this podcast. Awful. Controlled opposition. Not to mention “the shooter” was a deliberate stunt so they can say the police showed up and there was nothing to see there. It gives “credibility” and shows there’s an “investigation” going on... how can people be so gullible???

I love you guys, have been listening since the beginning. The 2 of you are truly unbiased and tell the story first, and then have opinions, which Insay are spot on. That being said this was by far your weakest episode ever. So so much was left out, and so many extremely important things. It wasnt bad at all, just not up to your high standard.
