“The Gifts of the Spirit in Today’s Church”
The object of this teaching is to understand the different graces on the five-fold ascension gifts and “how to recognize” them … without reading it on their business card or Face Book pages.
There are distinct and unique differences in the five-fold ascension gifts. All possess a different measure (metron) of grace.
(They are called “Ascension Gifts” because they were given to the Church after the Lord ascended back to Heaven.)
Notice the use of the word “some” and not “all” in the following text:
“And he gave some, Apostles; and some, Prophets; and some, Evangelists; and some, Pastors and Teachers; for the perfecting of the Saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.” (Ephesians 4:11-12).
