This was a group assignment in school where we needed to find target groups based on library users and their usage of computers on the public library. The assignment was to get book-readers to use the computer more instead of a physic book.

Our group got the target group: people who love travels and culture, very often read/lend books but don’t use the computer that much.

Based on our target group we have made a podcast where we are speaking about the history and culture in different countries, while the listener will be traveling with sound around the world in 5 minutes. Our idea was to get their favorite things into a podcast so they could start noticing the positive things about the usage of computers.

The purpose is to give information about the facts/history in the countries around the world while the listener is traveling and listening to the music/soundscape. This will provide the listener with a more interesting experience of a mental travel through each country in only 5 minutes.

If the project should be considered as a future podcast we had to make a planned travel podcast. So we started with the letter A and chose these country: Africa, South America, Australia and Asia.
