• Spotify was down for over five hours yesterday. “Spotify experienced an outage today beginning around 6:20 am EDT. As of 11:45 am EDT, Spotify is back up and functioning normally,” a spokesperson told Techradar, which live-tweeted the incident.


• Patreon announced live video which will roll out in the next few months. Creators can go live through the web, or via the Patreon mobile app. Podcasters earnt $472 million on Patreon last year, the company says. You can support Podnews on Patreon.
