Description

Polands $3.3B Defense Deal: Building Precision Rockets, Boosting Self-ReliancePoland has secured a significant defense deal, worth €3.3B, to develop its own precision-guided rockets. The HOMAR-K program includes 239mm CGR-zero eighty rockets with an 80km range. This agreement, the third in a series with South Korea, will see production in a new Polish facility starting in 2030. The Polish-Korean team, led by Hanwha WB Advanced System and Hanwha Aerospace, will manufacture the rockets. This move signals Polands growing military strength and self-reliance, reducing dependence on foreign suppliers and boosting local jobs and tech. By 2026, Poland aims to spend 4.8% of its GDP on defense, making it NATOs biggest spender relative to its economy size. Checkout Solipillow.com
