This program is a place for discussion of issues around autism and related topics - mental health, education, employment, inclusion, identity and cultural differences between autistic and non-autistic people. Jeanette usually interviews guests who are doing good work in the autism community.
For this episode Jeanette interviews nurse and autistic advocate Kathy Isaacs about her new Access Health Autism program which provides support to autistic people and health professionals to help bridge the chasm of misunderstandings and assumptions which frequently results in poor health outcomes for autistic people and us feeling unable to access health care even if they need to.
