SERIES SUMMARY
Ever since the days of Israel’s first (earthly) king, God’s people had longed for the true King who would reign with righteousness and power. In the Gospel of Mark, we see that King arrive in the person of Jesus—bringing God’s kingdom near and calling us to follow Him. Now that “The King is Here” we must decide what we are going to do about it; recognize Jesus as the TRUE King that we long for, or continue looking elsewhere.
SERMON SUMMARY
JESUS is the KING who is present, everywhere! As HIS people we get to trust this truth and live life by faith in HIS power to overcome any obstacle and to rely on HIM to show us more of HIMSELF in and through all circumstances.
