Description

Australia says it won't block Turkiye from hosting next year's COP31 climate summit, as both countries face growing pressure to end a standoff that could force the event back to Bonn in Germany. Prime minister Anthony Albanese says the deadlock is hurting global unity, and he wants the Pacific to benefit from the summit even if Turkiye wins the bid.

Guest: Dr Umit Sahin, head of the Climate Policy Program at the Istanbul Policy Centre

Producer: Anne Barker
