Description

The city has seen imagery of people easily moving barricades placed on Bourbon Street. These barricades were there to deter vehicular traffic and prevent another terror-type attack like the one on January 1st. In response, Project NOLA, an organization in New Orleans, is proposing a system that would alert NOPD officers when a vehicle drives down Bourbon Street, presumably when traffic is supposed to be blocked. Bryan Lagarde, the Executive Director of Project NOLA, joins Newell to talk about it.
