The NFL’s International Player Pathway program started in 2017 as a way for the league to bring talented athletes from other sports into the world of football. One of the athletes in the 2024 class, Charlie Smyth from Northern Ireland, used to be a Gaelic football player. Last night, he made his NFL regular season debut in a game against the Miami Dolphins.
